A large grassy patch

On my training course I always warn people that too many links in a communication chain is probably asking for trouble. The old children’s party game of Chinese Whispers teaches us that a perfrectly clear message at the start can become quite different once several people have passed it on.

Our coaching skills course involves some physical activity that takes palce outdoors. My business development manager told our client that we needed a large grassy patach and our client asked several potential venues if they had a large grassy patch and the one that got the gig promised us all they did.

What they neglected to tell us was that said grassy patch was actually the beer garden of the pub next door! Never mind, my participants coped manfully as these pictures show.
